The project is an initiative of the Global Recycling Foundation, aimed at raising awareness of the importance of recycling resources and encouraging people to take action to reduce waste and preserve the environment.

Amata City Chonburi Office, Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization), Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) and Amata Facility Services joined hand to organize a splendid seminar and mini exhibition at the Amata Carbon Neutral Network Forum 2023 (ACNN 2023). During the event, an award ceremony was held, presenting the AMATA Best Waste Management Awards for the year 2566 (2023). This continuous annual event marks its 10th anniversary and was honored by the presence of Mr. Chula Sukmanop, Ph.D. Secretary General, Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC),Dr. Viwat Kromadit, Chief Technical Officer and Chief Executive Officer of the Industrial Estate Business Thailand at AMATA Corporation Public Company , Mr.Chawalit Tippawanich Chief Executive Officer ,Ms. Witchuda Seemakachorn, the Director of Amata City Chonburi Industrial Estate , Mr. Sermpong Sukko , the Director of Amata City Rayong Industrial Estate and Mr.Aukkares Choochouy, Managing director of Amata Facilities Services Co.,Ltd, the awards were presented to entrepreneurs from a total of 94 factories

“AMATA Best Waste Management Awards” is a continuously annual event since 2014 until present with the aim to promote and support the factory to improve the efficiency of non-hazardous industrial waste management, solid waste, and sewage within the factory by applying the 3Rs (Reduce-Reuse-Recycle principle)
