Safety City, Smart City" 2020 : From AMATA to Community

Amata has continuously implemented the “Safety City, Smart City” project to promote the creation of a safe society both inside and outside of Amata City Industrial Estate. We are striving to campaign and tighten traffic laws such as for the prevention of drunk driving, absolute compliance with helmet wearing , absolute use of a seatbelt, obeying of the legal speed limit and prevention of unlawful parking, etc.
In 2020, the project "Safety City, Smart City" was expanded to the Amata City Rayong Industrial Estate. Amata, in collaboration with Siam Rajathanee Co., Ltd. and Toyota Motor Thailand Co., Ltd., organized the “Safety Road” activity at Ban Phu Sai School, Khao Mai Kaew Subdistrict, Banglamung District, Chonburi to campaign for people and students in the community to gain knowledge and take part in accident prevention.
The activities were designed to change driving behaviours, realize traffic discipline, and act as a role model of safe driving. During the event there was a base for various educational activities, including a simulator for safe driving.
