The AMATA Best Waste Management Awards has been continuously organized as an annual program since 2014. The initiative aims to encourage and support factories in improving the efficiency of non-hazardous industrial waste, municipal waste, and sewage management within their facilities through the application of the 3Rs principles (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) and the Circular Economy concept.The program focuses on promoting effective waste management practices at the source within factories before waste is delivered to waste sorting facilities. This helps increase the proportion of waste that can be converted into Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) and recyclable materials.The company recognizes the importance of collaboration among factories within the industrial estates in reducing negative impacts on society and the environment.
